AEGIS software for Age Concern organisations
AEGIS is a computer system originally designed for Age Concern York that helps your organisation keep track of the services you provide to your clients. In a central secure database, AEGIS maintains information about:
- Clients
- Contact and personal details, home situation and abilities, associated contacts (relatives, carers etc)
- Staff
- Contact and personal details for paid and volunteer staff, CRB reference, training details, availability, preferred areas of activity
- Referrals & Services
- Details of all visits to clients, including service-specific information and assessments
- Visits
- Cross-reference of above data by client and staff member
Free-format notes can be attached to any of the above items and a messaging system is incorporated to pass information to individual or groups of users—particularly useful where a number of staff are part-time. Document templates can be created so that letters, standard forms etc can be produced using client-specific data held within the system.
AEGIS is easy to use and can be configured for local multi-user access only (i.e. within the office) or for remote users to log on securely using a broadband connection. The system is priced recognising the very tight monetary constraints within the sector, and can be licensed outright or used on a rental basis.
